Saturday, January 6  |  11am – Energize Your Daily Meditation Practice – Learn new meditation techniques including breath, mantras, yoga concentration with a heart focus, and share inspiration to take your practice to a new level  |  

Saturday, January 6 |  2pm – Chanting and Mantras – Experience the peace and power of group chanting, using ancient and modern mantras, with harmonium accompaniment.

Sunday, January 7   | 9-10am – Morning Meditation – Explore the Silence Within  – Recharge with guided and silent meditation with a heart focus. |  

Sunday, January 7 | 11am – Vegan Cooking Demo & Brunch  – get ideas for transitioning to vegetarian and vegan living, and enjoy some delicious snacks, with Naz Tamar  |        

Sunday, January 7 | 2pm – Music for Meditation – Live Concert with Premik Russell Tubbs. Meditate to the peaceful and joyful melodies of Sri Chinmoy, arranged and improvised on Western and Indian flutes, alto sax and tanpura. Premik has played with Ravi Shankar, the Mahavishnu Orchestra, Krishna Das, Sting, Whitney Houston and many other musical luminaries. Session includes group chanting. Monday, January 8   | 12.30 – 1:30 pm – Meditation for Stress Management in the workplace and daily life. Practice simple and effective techniques from the yoga tradition, to quiet the mind and increase focus. Location for Monday session: The Free Library of Philadelphia  (Room 405-406), 1901 Vine Street

Sunday, January 14  | 2pm – 21-Day Meditation Discovery Kick-off 

  • Learn simple, effective techniques to quiet the mind and  open the heart
  • Establish or deepen your daily practice with a 21-day program, including techniques and inspiration for each day, plus discussion on the “secrets” of meditation
  • Reduce stress, increase focus & positive energy
  • Try yoga philosophy for a happier life, based on the teachings of Sri Chinmoy

Please allow time to find parking on-street or at the parking garage on Race between 3rd and 4th.  We suggest that you do not park on 4th Street in front of our Centre, to avoid possible tickets.
